The Value Of Hard Work and Commitment in Achieving Your Spinal Health Goals – Advice from your Chiropractor in Downtown Toronto

You've probably heard or read it a thousand times by now: I can fix you in 1 or 2 visits, I can get you pain free overnight! It's a line that has been used for decades to mislead people across all areas of health care including Chiropractic care.

But is it a valid claim? Take a moment and look at what the person is claiming, they are claiming a miracle cure overnight. If it sounds too good to be true, it likely is, be cautious with these people.
It's an expression or a claim that drives me nuts, it provides false hope to those that are looking for help and guidance.

The reality is that if you want to get better and actually correct what is causing your low back pain or neck pain, it requires hard work and commitment. It's the way life works, if you give something 100% of your effort you will do great, if you give it 20% you're going to max out at 20%.

Think about it a different way, if your goal was to lose weight and get in better shape, where do you get the best results - when you follow your workout and diet plan to 100% or when you slack on your workout and diet routine? It's a no brainer answer, we KNOW which one gets the best results.

So why believe someone who claims they will "fix" your low back pain or neck pain overnight? Most issues that cause pain in your spine or from long standing problems or habits, can those really be fixed overnight? The answer is simply no.

At best, you might get some pain relief, but did you really correct (or fix) what caused that low back pain or neck pain? Not even close. Now for some chiropractic patients, that may be their goal, but it is only putting in the most minimal of efforts, so you get the most minimal results. Everyone gets to choose their own path.

In our chiropractic clinic in downtown Toronto, our focus is on correcting the cause of your low back pain or neck pain. This means you will never hear me making claims that you will be fixed in 1 or 2 visits because frankly it is just misleading you. I'm here to be your chiropractor that give you the best advice and deliver the best results. I will always tell you what you need to do to fix the problem in your spine, and quite frankly, it could be a long time and a lot of effort. This requires a commitment to getting better, and once you get better, I always advocate that you maintain that correction. It is honestly so much easier to maintain a good healthy state in your spine than it is to correct the problem in the first place.

If you are in downtown Toronto and are looking for a chiropractor that will give you the best advice to correct your spinal health problem, give us a call or send me an email, I am always happy to answer any questions you might have.
