Have you ever heard or wondered whether chiropractic patients are adjusted the same way?
Have you ever heard that it's just the same chiropractic adjustment for each visit?
In this blog, these questions are answered from our chiropractor in Toronto to give you a better understanding of whether every chiropractic patient receives the same chiropractic adjustment.
Within chiropractic care, there are many different types of techniques for chiropractic adjustments. The more techniques a chiropractor knows, the more ability they have to deliver an effective adjustment a patient as they have the ability to use whichever technique is best suited to that patient.
Probably the most common technique that chiropractors in Toronto use is a technique called Diversified. Diversified is a good technique. The best way I can describe diversified technique is a generic chiropractic technique. It's designed to be effective for a good chunk of patients but for some it does not provide relief or in some cases can cause increased discomfort.
At our chiropractic clinic in downtown Toronto we do use Diversified technique but it's only a portion of what we use. Each patient is often a blend of different techniques to arrive at the best possible chiropractic adjustment for that patient.
One of the core chiropractic adjustment techniques is called mirror image adjusting - a technique under the umbrella of Chiropractic Biophysics. It's an advanced technique that aims to consistently correct postural imbalances on each visit. The majority of our patients do receive this technique as it is very gentle and effective and has proven results.
Other techniques that we use at our downtown Toronto Chiropractor Clinic are Drop Table, Thompson Technique, Webster's Technique, Activator Method, Gonstead technique, Toggle Technique, HIO, Extremity Adjusting, among others.
As a chiropractor, having so many techniques allows me to provide a diverse range of options to deliver the best possible chiropractic adjustment. Every visit there are variations and modifications when you come in for your visit that we can make each chiropractic visit your best one.
